Meeting the Mystical Toad

Klowie, a reddish-gold Tibetan Spaniel is on an adventure of a lifetime. The li'l Louisiana pup gets separated from her family while they are on vacation in Carlsbad, New Mexico. Klowie finds herself in a cavern where she meets a mystical horned toad that will take her with him on Christian forays into the past and the future. Klowie encounters some strange talking creatures in her journey, a Red Bird, a Mallard duck, a Fox Squirrel and a half-breed wolf. All of these creatures are disciples of Oscar the Mystical Toa. They travel to different time periods in history to preach salvation to such humans as Jim Bowie, George Washington, Leonardo da Vinci, and Queen Elizabeth during their times of triumph and travails.
