D. Dwain Lynch

D. Dwain Lynch always wanted to be a writer. After his last battle with cancer, he became more determined to become one. He joined the Writers Guild of Acadiana. He also meets with a critique group. In 2025, Dwain Lynch had four short stories published in A Treasury of Louisiana Writers, Volume 1 and Volume 2. His stories in Volume 1 are "It's A Lake" and "The Butcher Paper Contract." His humorous first story in Volume 2, "But I Wanted to See the Babies," is based on his Grandma Lynch and her hip replacement. His dramatic second story in Volume 2, "The Unforgettable Christmas of 1951," is based on the Southern Illinois coal mine disaster of 1951. The books are available on Amazon.
