John François is the author of several historical novels and many short stories. He spent twelve years in the U.S. Navy, then taught U.S. and world history in Dept. of Defense American schools overseas.
The author is retired and lives in Lafayette, LA. His novels are set in southeastern Louisiana, in the northeastern U. S. and Canada, and in Paris.
He researches the era of each of his novels, giving a rich context for the story settings and characters. His work has received great reviews by his readers.
