For our meeting at the WEST REGIONAL library in Scott (not the usual location!) on January 27, we will have a writing contest in the POETRY genre. The prompt is Winter Splendor”.
Reminder: the rules state that the entry must contain the prompt — not just be inspired by it.
Additional Rules Apply:
— maximum word count of 500 words
— the entry must be typed
— include a title, author’s name, date of competition, and category
— entry may be read by another person, but the author must be present
— competitors must be WGA members
— competitors are not allowed to vote for the best poem
Winners will need to email entry to Christopher Fontenot for Anthology publication.
